Silicon hollar presents.......


Get ready for the first installment of High Country Hacks, powered by Silicon Hollar, Ascent Business Network and partners: Startup High Country, Appalachian State University and The Greenhouse.

The theme this semester is to Hack for the Community. So bring your ideas and unbridled creativity to downtown Boone in February 2016, and change the world!  

This event is open to the public and a is fantastic opportunity to see how student programmers, graphic designers, interface designers and project managers "hack" together different technologies to create a working prototype of a product in less than 48 hours. 

Student Hackers not attending App State are invited to register and attend.

In order to compete you must register yourself, or your team, by midnight February 8, 2016. Depending on the number of RSVPs, we may have to limit the number of open spots and they will be available on a first come, first served basis. If we have additional openings, we may take day of registrations, so if you're local, feel free to drop in on the 12th.
